Note that Native Seeds/SEARCH changed the names of many of their beans circa ~2020, to better reflect the native names versus the names NSS had given them on acquisition.
Per Native Seeds/SEARCH: "This bean has a distinctive flavor and smooth texture, and is a staple at many elevations in the Sierra Madre. Medium-sized, egg-shaped, sulfur and beige-colored seeds. From our Seed Bank Collection.
Origin: high desert. Pole bean. Day length sensitive; may not have time to produce well in northern climates. Plant with monsoon rains in the low desert."
